Each person’s reason for seeking therapy is specific to their own unique past and present experiences. As you are the expert in your own story, my aim is to provide a warm, collaborative space that helps you to identify and work towards your own personal wellbeing goals.
As a mother, I understand the challenges that can accompany the perinatal period and beyond, as well as the value of support and connection when experiencing and processing those experiences. Through my own parenting journey, I have come to understand that caring for ourselves helps us to care for others.
My aim is to work to create a safe space for all therapy seekers, tackling issues including stress, anxiety, depression, and any challenges you may be facing. I believe that developing a strong therapeutic relationship is at the core of therapy and I look forward to supporting you and working together to help experience desired change, healing, and growth.
I work with adolescents and individual adults struggling with a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, daily stress, burnout, feeling overwhelmed, struggles with mood and emotional regulation, navigating change, and the challenges of parenting.
Working from a client-centred approach, I believe in exploring each person’s story, strengths, and capacity for growth, attending to the needs to each client with an approach that best fits you. I also utilize strengths-based and solution-focused approaches to empower you to determine and work towards your own desired outcomes.
