Registered Psychotherapist Qualifying

Tamara-PredovicI believe that every individual is a complex and unique constellation of the various building blocks which constitute their life experience. It can be difficult to know what to do when life brings unforeseen challenges, hardships, or painful emotions. Reaching out for help can be a difficult task, and finding a therapist who aligns with your personal values can seem daunting. While no two individuals lead parallel lives, I believe in the shared thread of common humanity which connects us all and am honoured that you have considered me to be your ally throughout your personal therapeutic journey.

My commitment is to show up for you in a way that is genuine, non-judgmental, accepting, and honours the vulnerability of sharing your story. My hope is that this will cultivate an environment of safety in which you can be your truest self and together we can explore the multiple intersecting factors which make you, you. My approach is rooted in a humanistic and person-centred lens which makes me highly value attending to the relational working alliance we will build. You will have control over the direction of your journey and I will work closely alongside you to introduce and experiment with techniques that might be best suited for you along the way. Other influences in my work include psychodynamic and attachment-based theories in which we can explore together how past and current relationships might be impacting current functioning and experiencing. We will be a team and I will welcome and collaborate with your feedback on an ongoing basis to ensure that my approach is constantly aligned with your personal goals. I work with adults of all ages and welcome individuals of diverse cultures, religions, genders, and sexual orientations with openness, respect, and curiosity.

Currently, I am completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and completing practicum under the direct supervision of Rachel Sturgeon, MA, RP, CCC. I am a qualifying member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
